About Me
Panithan Thanawutthikorn (Sai)
I was born in Bangkok Thailand on December 5, 1978. Moved to Chicago at the age of 6 years old without knowing a single word of English. Was able to quickly adapted and learn the westerner culture. As a teenager I moved from back to my birthplace to attend (ISB) International school of Bangkok. Which, looking back was one of the best experience I had as a teenager. There was one class in particular that stood out and made a lasting impact on my me as an individual and how I saw the world. The name of the class was called Cross Culture Study taught by a teacher name Mr. Jim Westgate. The structure of the class was unorthodox. The classroom was setup with chairs in a circle and students were encourage to share their feelings. Learning about “Culture Shock” was a completely new concept, but one that was invaluable that help me transition into new environment. Thats when I fell in love with Bangkok and had a lasting vision to come back and settle in this beautiful, culturally rich city. After high school I attended a community college in Wheaton IL COD college of Dupage while working full time at my family restaurant name “Thai Lotus”. Then transfer to UNLV university Nevada Las Vegas. Held positions at various restaurants and hotels.
Why the name Stretch Fit Yoga.
During covid is when I stumble on what can be describe as new passion for stretching and mission to help people of all ages move and feel more mobile with their body. Working with senior is something I find very rewarding. Knowing that I can help some one feeling super tight and unable to move before walking in to see me. Then feeling like they are able to image a future that their bodies can be more physically active. It can really change your perspective life.
